Hey, Hannah. How are you?

I am doing good. I've got my coffee and I am ready to talk about our July books. There are so many good books coming out.

I know. I had trouble narrowing it down. Although I sort of picked my initial four and then I was like, wait, but this, but this.

I was like, no, no, just go with your gut. Stick with the ones that, you know, first called to you. And I wonder, I love these episodes because we don't share what we're going to talk about in advance. So I'm like, oh, what's on your list? Like, I have no clue. And in my head, I always think, oh, gosh, it's going to be overlap. And, like, very rarely is it?

I know. I love to wait and see. I'm surprised that we don't have more overlap with things like this, because I do feel like we read fairly similarly. But so far, I don't know if we've had any overlap with the exception of the summer bonanza, which we knew would happen a little bit. But yeah, yeah, maybe today's the day. I don't know. Maybe today's the day. We'll find out. Do you have backups prepared? I do. Well, you know, they're not on my script, but I can do it on the fly. So we'll have to wait and see. Okay. How is the weather by

you? Hot. But West weather update. Oh, it's really, really hot. But it's supposed to cool off

on Sunday. And yeah, it's supposed to cool off on Sunday. And I mean, I lived in North Carolina

for a long time and the summers just

feel like a normal summer in the South. Normal southern summer. I know. I know. Same in Chicago, it's been in the

90s, multiple days in a row. And, you know, in my head, I'm like, oh, I love hot weather. And like, yeah, last night we were outside trying to grill and make dinner. I'm like, I'm hot. It's too hot. It's too hot. Yeah. My little baby, I was sitting on this couch and little Cassia was like roasting in the sun like a little. But she loves it. My kids both don't, you know, they don't care. No, kids don't care. They will just be outside in the freezing temperatures and the hot

temperatures. They just don't care. I know Jonathan always says that toddlers don't, or children don't get

cold. They just sort of have an internal temperature and, you know, they're not bothered.

At least my children.

Yeah, mine too.
