Hi friends, I'm Annie F. Downs, let's read the Gospels.

The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark,

Luke, and John.

These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the

sacrifices, the meals, and the miracles.

Each month here on Let's Read the Gospels, we're reading all four books.

Make sure you subscribe and remember we have a downloadable reading plan if you want

to follow along that way or there's the Let's Read the Gospels guidebook that contains

some extras like notes for me and journal prompts and some questions to dig a little

deeper into the reading.

You know we say a lot around here, you don't have to be in the Gospels every day to be changed,

but every day you're in the Gospels will change you.

So I'm really glad you're here with us today, especially because today is my birthday.

And there is nothing I'd rather be doing than reading the Gospels with you on my birthday.

So here's all the stories.

I'll read three chapters to you today.

You can listen, or read along in your own Bible, and then I'll write, and that's it.

So today is July 7th, day 7 of this month, and I'll be reading John, chapters 19 through

21, and I am grateful to get to do so.

And this month, I am reading from the CSB.
