It's Tuesday the 30th of July and I would love to talk to you about my airport experience going through airport security at three airports in 24 hours because they were all slightly different.

You might recall I was at Paris Orley Airport.

Now, that was an interesting security experience.

I dare say you have your own little rituals. I certainly do when I'm travelling and one of them

is always to take a bottle of water in my cabin baggage and when I get into the security queue I swig

the water, take through the empty bottle so that I can replenish it from the water fountains or

whatever on the other side.

Anyway, I was flying on Vueling. They told me you want Terminal 1. On my boarding pass,

I arrived at the airport at Terminal 3. I trunched in about 10 minutes to Terminal 1.

They said, oh yeah, well this is only if you're dropping off bags. If you want it fly's at Terminal 3. I trudged back. By this stage, I was just a little bit short of time

and getting a bit stressed. So I forgot about the absolutely crucial thing in terms of making

sure that I drunk my water. I only remembered when the whole bag disappeared into the machine.

I thought, oh, crikey, my bag's going to be pulled.

Quite right, it was.

So I really don't like doing that.

I shouldn't.

I should be perfectly in good enough shape not to be able to do that but I'm afraid on this occasion

it went through they pulled the bag and they say you've got some water here and I said yes I

have and I'm sorry to waste your time and they said well that's all right and they didn't just

chuck out the water put it in one of those big bins

they said okay here you are and we put it through a special machine we know it's
