self-imposed Independence Day deadline.

Passage of what they named the one big beautiful bill, with some $4.5 trillion in tax cuts and $1.4 trillion in spending cuts. Both are records.

As is the $3.2 trillion, the Congressional Budget Office says this could add to the deficit.
