Nick Redfern I know that you were uh in Roswell for the festivities as they were I was

what happened there well the first thing that happened was I always got eight strokes but the

heat stroke aside it was uh I, kind of like a surreal week.

You know, every year there's sort of a Roswell Festival or events held that commemorates,

if that's the right word, the events of July 1947.

I guess what sort of set this year apart from any other year, possibly other than the 50th anniversary,

was that this was, again,

you know, an anniversary year. So the whole town was literally just turned over to the whole

UFO subject. And I think there were estimates were that somewhere in the region of 35,000 to 50,000

people in town. Wow. And attending collectively, not just the conferences, but just hanging out and seeing what all the

fuss was about and, you know, checking out the different places in town.

So, you know, I think in the one hand, yes, there was a lot of good debate and discussion

about the crash, but I think to an extent a lot of that is overshadowed by the fact that

it's very much like a celebratory event.
