Hi friends, I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New

Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles.

So here is how it works. I'll read three chapters to you. You can listen or read along in your own Bible or online, and then I'll pray, and that's it.

John 13.

Before the Passover festival, Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart from this world to the father.

Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. Now when it was time for supper,

the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas, Simon Ascariot's son, to betray him.

Jesus knew that the father had given everything into his

hands, that he had come from God and that he was going back to God. So he got up from supper,

laid aside his outer clothing, took a towel, and tied it around himself. Next, he poured water into a basin
