August recess mode.

A really interesting look at kind of what each of the leaders is facing.

They're positioning going into what is going to be certainly a kind of stressful

and potentially even very dramatic September with government funding and a shutdown looming.

Well, let's say at the top here that it is August recess.

The House and Senate are out, both out until September.

The House until September 12th, the Senate until, I think the week before.

And they left on the Senate at least left on a high note.

The House left on a low note.
