1:29.3	Over the weekend, two American service members were killed, and another was reported missing
1:34.2	after an Iranian missile barrage struck Muwafik-Salti air base in Jordan. Several others were
1:40.0	wounded, and the attack also damaged U.S. military aircraft deployed at the base. Those are the first
1:46.5	American combat deaths since President Trump announced a ceasefire with Iran earlier this year. That,
1:51.5	of course, was the ceasefire that never actually ceased the firing. It was a memorandum of
1:56.7	understanding that only served to heighten the misunderstandings between the two nations.
2:01.9	The strike came just days after Iran formally withdrew from that June memorandum of misunderstanding.
2:07.8	Of course, it was intended to reduce tensions in the region. That didn't work out well.
