We'll meet again for the second time in a row in the World Cup final. They also met in

the Olympic final as well. Before we delve into that

though, I want to start guys with the own goals seen around the world, perhaps

the most brutal way to exit a World Cup semi-final. the world

imaginable England's Laura Bassett seemingly just trying to clear away

and across hits it into her own goal in the 93rd minute, the last seconds of

stoppage time, essentially.

England goes out, Japan goes through. My heart sunk and I had no dog in that fight.

Yeah, I mean, it's just the most remarkable finish like that that I've ever seen to an important soccer game.

I mean, you know, somebody made the comparison to Andrei's Escobar, which I don't really want

to go there totally because obviously he ended up not surviving and

that's a completely different story but it's something at a World Cup that is, you know is England played probably I would say outplayed Japan in this game and

we were headed to extra time and you're I guess you're just reminded that this game can produce so many

surprises and positive ones and negative ones and you know for Laura Bassett to be the one to put the ball in her own net that way at the end of

the game in injury time of a World Cup semi-final you just say those words and you feel horrible.
