On Wednesday, a reporter's emails confirmed that Carl Rove was the leaker who outed Valerie

Plame as a CIA officer to Time magazine. By Friday, it was reported that Rove told investigators

that he did tell two reporters about Plame, but that he was first informed of her identity by yet

another reporter. columnist Bob Novak, who we all know, leaked it to the world.

The week's events rendered the usually flagmatic White House Press Corps positively choleric,

and it worked up a sweat with White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan.

Do you stand by your remarks from that podium or not? And again, David,

I'm well aware, like you, of what was previously said, and I will be glad to talk about it at the

appropriate time. The appropriate time is when the investigation... Why do you mean it's appropriate,

when it's inappropriate? If you'll let me finish. No, you're not finishing. You're not saying

anything. You stood at that podium and said that Carl Rowe was not involved,

and now we find out that he spoke about Joseph Wilson's wife.

So don't you owe the American public a fuller explanation?

Was he involved or was he not?
