Today's show, what you might have missed from yesterday's January 6th committee hearing.

In case you missed it yesterday, CNN's coverage of Tuesday's January 6th committee hearing

gave way to one of the more surreal exchanges

we've seen on cable news. As Jake Tapper and former National Security Advisor John Bolton

discussed some January 6 participants' attempts to overthrow the government.

I don't know that I agree with you to be fair with all due respect. One doesn't have to be

brilliant to attempt a coup.

I disagree with that.

As somebody who has helped planned coup data, not here, but, you know, other places,

it takes a lot of work.

Now, about that hearing, Tuesday's hearing was cut into two different parts.

Donald Trump's call to action and his supporters' response.

Peace together, they amount to

this. The members of the January 6 panel, as Politico's Calcini and Nicholas Rue Wright, quote,

are laying out an unmistakable map to a potential criminal case against a former president. For the

committee, it was Trump who called for a protest to assemble in Washington on January 6th.

Be there, we'll be wild. He tweeted on December 19th, 2020.

Group after group saw the tweet as a directive, according to the committee, including

extremist organizations, like the proud boys and the oathkeepers.
