Welcome to the Life of Caesar podcast. My name is Cameron Riley. I'm Ray Harris. And together,

Ray and I are going to take you through 60 odd hours of the life and career of Julius Caesar.

So when Ray and I started this show in December 2013, we're recording this in 2017, by the way.

When we started our journey together, we didn't know each other that well.

So we started doing this series as a fairly serious history podcast.

And about 10 or so episodes in is where we really found our stride.

And we started to introduce the humor

and the jokes and the music and then that's turned into this phenomenon where today we do shows

on Augusta Caesar and Alexander the Great and the Cold War and the Syrian Civil War.

Believe it or not, we find humor in some of those.

So this is just a warning that if you've come to this show, thinking it's going to be full of, you know, humor, you got to give it some time. And it will. Yeah. Yeah, we thought about re-recording the early episodes, but then I thought, no, no, it's nice for people to sort of see the journey that we went on ourselves.
