We've been trying to get this guy on the show for years, and it has finally happened

as we catch up with the center of attention up there in Seattle, Julio Rodriguez.

See, I look at this jersey and I'm thinking, you could have been like a shooting guard in the NBA, huh? You got skills or no? Maybe I can shoot a little bit. I'm not the best one, but I can definitely make some buckets. Okay. Well, you better D up. The way you D up out there, can you lock people down? For sure. I think I got the size for it. Oh, okay. How's the lateral movement? Good?

No, that's good too.

Okay, quickness? Yep, yep. Explosive. I can stay in front of people, I would say. Hey, does Tatee still get pissed at you for doing that thing to him in center field? I think he enjoyed it. I think he enjoyed it. Obviously, when we talked about it, He said that he had a feeling that I caught it,

but he was all the way in second that he wasn't sure, but, you know, we laugh it off and we're still homie, so we're good. Okay. He hasn't stolen one from you, man? Not yet, but I'm definitely positive that he's waiting for the opportunity. He wants you to hit one. you got your pop that direction. Yeah, yeah, me. I'm telling you. Like he told me that he's just kind of waiting for me to hit one over there. So I want to hit over his head, it's far enough, so he doesn't rob it. Yeah, well, you had that great couple moments this year with Willie Adamas. We had Willie on this show and talked to him about it.

And he said the minute he rounded first and his first base coach is sent in a second,

he was thinking, what the hell am I doing? Do you think of the same thing? Yeah, that's literally

that's where are you going? Like literally the first, the first thought. Obviously, like, every time

like somebody hits a ball in the gap like

i'm expecting them to run but like most more often than not like i know when they have a chance

to kind of go or not and whenever i saw that he actually kept going i was like oh thank you easy assist

so would you tell him when you got to second base as you were trotting out for the end of the inner?

I just told him like, bro, why are you running on me? And then he ends up getting you twice? I know. I know. He did really good plays. But that's like that's a game. You know, that's a game. And I feel like, you know, we both enjoy that part. You know, like obviously I want to get a hit. but you know I know he's a really good player and that he's going to go out there and make play. So we definitely have a lot of fun with that. So what's more fun, defense or offense? Like, would you rather steal a home run or would you rather hit a home run? I asked Byron Buxton this recently. To me, man, like, I know, I know what you're going to say, but I'm going to go with both. You know, I feel like, yeah, I'm going to go with both, man. You're getting selfish on me. No, no, that's okay. I'm going to take that. I want to take that. But I think it's really fun, you know, to be able to hit a home run for the team but at the same time you

know when when every time I rob a home run or do like a very very good play back there and

I see just the reaction of everybody I think it's really it's a really cool feeling for me too

so I'm gonna go with both so what is more fun stealing a home run at home where you

get the roar of the crowd,

or silencing everybody on the road.

On the road, you know.
