Tetracket.

For a lot of folks, they think it should be easy,

because they see from the outside, well, this caught a viral moment.

And yesterday this person wasn't famous, and today they are.

And they're not understanding that that doesn't mean you are actually building

something sticky and important on the right road of having a career in music. And so we're

meeting a lot of hobbyists. And so that's why meeting talent is the most important.

Like, that's why the pandemic was so scary, because you couldn't really meet them and really look in her eyes and see are you up for the Pepsi challenge.

Did you sign any artists during the pandemic?

Very few, because it was a hard process for me because I was just like, I'm talking to people through Zoom and like you can't really

look them in the eyes to understand like do you really want this life my company's architected

around touring acts I only want to sign an artist I want to tour I see I want to build something

are there artists now who don't want a tour absolutely that's interesting oh yeah yeah you know you have

artists that are like well do I really have to go out on the road?

And then you're like, well, if you just want to stay in your bedroom and make pop music, cool, that's not for us then.

And then you have artists that are like, I want to wait till I can only play 5,000 cedars because I don't want to I don't want to be small.

It's going to be hard to be good in a 5,000 cedar if you don't work your way up to that,

I would imagine.

Dude, they walk across the festival stage because they get booked so early to do festivals,

and they think because they played at a festival to a few thousand people during their time slot,

that that's not what they're worth.
