0:21.8	charges in the 1972 murder of 15-year-old Julie Hansen. Hansen body was found in what was
0:29.6	a cornfield near 87th and Modaf Road on July 8th, 1972. She was found with a bicycle she had
0:37.2	been riding to her brother's baseball game.
0:39.6	The teen was stabbed multiple times. This morning, prosecutors charge this man, 76-year-old
0:45.9	Barry Lee Wellpley with first-degree murder. At the time of the murder, Wellpley was 27 years old.
0:52.4	He was taken into custody Wednesday in Minnesota and will be extradited
0:56.2	to Illinois.
0:57.7	Our detectives, like I've mentioned, were diligent, relentless, had the faith that this case
1:04.3	would be solved someday and that day is today.
