It's very deserved. This week we wanted to really lock into just this weekend coming up because we are in April,

which is when every network suddenly decides they have an Emmy contender and need to release it at exactly the same time.

And this weekend we've got three shows that I think are really exciting to talk about.

One is Netflix's Ripley.

We've got Apple TV Plus is Sugar, starring Colin Farrell.

And then Stars is Marion George with Julian Moore.

But before we get into those three series, we want to talk about a bit of news that broke a little while back, but we just didn't have a chance to talk about it, which is that the Golden Globes have a new five-year deal with CBS. They are officially,

CBS is officially the home of the Globes, which I believe on this

podcast were maybe pronounced dead at one point, were in most corners they are very much not

dead what do we what do we make of of this new this new era?

Hollywood loves a comeback story. Yeah.

I'm just imagining like, I'm imagining the Golden Globes organization like at the negotiating

table with like CBS executives and CBS is like, and you can guarantee that there will be a
