Hello and welcome to Katie Piper's Extraordinary People, the podcast where I usually sit down with

somebody who's lived a truly extraordinary life. Due to government guidelines, we obviously

can't quite literally sit together at the moment, but that's certainly not going to stop us.

I'm so thrilled and excited to say that my

guest today is leading psychotherapist and counsellor Julia Samuel MBE. Julia has been essential in

guiding many, many bereaved parents through the tragedy of losing a child. She spent 23 years at St Mary's Hospital

in Paddington, with her experiences leading her to launch the charity Child Bereavement UK. She's written

two books, the most recent one, this too shall pass, being described as a beautifully written

celebration of the strength of human spirit.
