Because I'm more proud of getting through what I got through and my childhood and talking about that than anything else.

And having a different life from my son and stop.

You know, in that video, there's that picture of my mom, my sister, and me.

And like, those two killed themselves, right?

And so, absolutely. That is the thing I'm most proud of.

And when people, women used to come up and, you know, how it changed their lives and, you know,

all of these things, it didn't, and I've said this, like, it didn't totally penetrate, right?

Because there was still such a big part of me, such a big hole in me.

Like I think I knew what was coming.

I definitely knew it was coming because when it came, I'm like, I'm done.

I've used up all my dedication, I've used up every resource.

I've had to overcome so much, like I'm done.

Like I can't do this anymore but now when people come up

and in women or whatever like it it it penetrates because I feel like the thing that I'm most

hallowed names in mountain bike history. But you probably haven't heard much from her recently.

No one really has. I spent most of my winter

in California, and as I was driving up the coast, I passed through Santa Cruz. And wanting to

know more about Julie and wanting to know why she's kept a low profile since that storied career.
