Sunday morning I woke up to see the news that Juice World had passed and

Obviously it's become a very eerie feeling in the last couple of years to see members of the sound cloud rep generation

taken far too soon. You had a little peep, died of a overdose a couple years ago,

X, X, X, Xantosium was murdered last year.

As someone who has devoted a lot of energy and critical resource and time

into this art form

it just never stops being painful

and I keep coming back to their ages

and the fact that these are children.

Juice was 21 but you know he putting records online for four or five years.

These are kids and they are dealt. online for four or five years.

These are kids and they are dealt crazier hands

than they have the tools to deal with.

And yes, the circumstances for each of the individuals

who died is very different, but each of them in some way came

from having too much too soon and not being in a position to deal with that.

And everybody raises their hand and says how terrible it is. But nobody

raises their hand and says that they want to do something about it. I wrote a piece that

started to ask a couple of those questions and I would like to hear more about what should be done and what can be done.

I understand that the circumstances vary widely and not here trying to

assign any specific blame, but I do think that anyone who works in this business and is invested in this art, not as a product, but as art.

And who is investing in these people, these are people, these are not products.
