Summary
How do you find time to make all of the right money moves, have relationships with family or friends, AND keep a career that brings in the Benjamins? We'll talk about that and a TON more on today's podcast, recorded live in Detroit, Michigan, to round out our three-city tour!
As always, we're bringing the party with a cast of special guests from the Detroit area. First, we'll talk to popular blogger and mother of twins Catherine Alford (CatherineAlford.com) and father-of-two, podcaster Andy Hill (Marriage, Kids and Money podcast), about how they juggle multiple priorities. We'll then hear a story about life, family, and a limo from professional storyteller Shannon Cason. We'll talk to TIAA Difference Maker Inger Griffin, from the Emily Ann Griffin Foundation. She'll describe how she decided after her young daughter passed away to help families in need. Plus, we'll answer a Blooom call for help with blogger Tasha Daniel (FinancialGarden.net), who personally paid off over $80,000 of debt!
We're also excited that in every city we had a Stacking Benjamins band! Our rockstar band in Detroit? It's none other than the guy who designs our awesome swag, Cincinnati-based Brad Lark.
...and of course, we were joined on stage by our guest co-host, the co-founder of Blooom, Chris Costello.
It's a super episode with our liveliest crowd of the three shows (sold out show!). You'll laugh, hear some moving stories, and maybe (keep this part to yourself) learn something.

| 0:00.0 | Hey, Stackers. Welcome to the end of what normally would be our off week. However, we're not doing that this week. If you've missed the shows on Monday and Wednesday, we're presenting all of our live shows from Orlando on Monday, Kansas City on Wednesday. I guess we got for you today, Detroit. What a crowd. This venue was a third of the size of the other venues. |
| 0:24.9 | And when I stepped on on the stage, we had people standing in the back. Every seat was taken. We had 100 seats and man, were they full. |
| 0:33.3 | So a packed house on hand. We again made changes to the show. |
| 0:38.6 | This will be a lot different than the other two shows. |
| 0:41.6 | So I'm super excited for you to hear it. |
| 0:44.2 | Thanks again to Bloom with three O's stackybedjements.com forward slash bloom. |
| 0:49.3 | Chris Costello, who I felt like became just another member of the Stacky Benjamin's family. He was with us so much. |
| 0:56.6 | By the way, thanks to our producer, Richie, who traveled with us. Richie, we don't thank enough |
| 1:02.7 | for all the hard work that he puts into making these things happen. And he actually, in this one, |
| 1:08.9 | instead of being in the back of the room, he sat right next to the stage. |
| 1:12.0 | So thanks to everybody who came out, we have people from Cleveland, from the opposite side of Michigan, from Columbus, from Cincinnati, people from all over came out to Detroit. |
| 1:23.4 | And man, just the vibe in that room was so fun. |
| 1:27.2 | Thanks, by the way, to Seth and Becky from |
| 1:29.1 | the debrief podcast. We're going to have that in the feed this weekend for you. So you'll be able |
| 1:34.8 | to hear that show as an extra bonus. All right. But without further ado, my favorite storyteller |
| 1:40.6 | is here, Shannon Kaysan. You've got to hear that segment. |
| 1:45.9 | But I don't want to take away from the other segments because everybody brought it. |
| 1:47.9 | Let's say hello to the Stacky Benjamin show in Detroit. |
| 1:59.6 | Live from Detroit, it's the Stacking Benjamin Show. |
| 2:04.6 | You know, the fun fact here, folks. |
| 2:16.6 | The show was originally supposed to be down at the Detroit Lions football stadium, Ford Field, but some loser named Luke Bryan's getting ready to play there, and he didn't want us to upstage him. He was a total diva. So, we're coming to you live from the next best venue in the area, Ferndale, Michigan's Go Comedy Improft Theater. |
| 2:39.8 | On today's show, we welcome |
