Summary

In this episode we discuss the Netflix documentary "Judy Blume Forever" about the beloved author Judy Blume. Judy is probably best known for the 1970 book "Are you there God, it's me Margaret." This heart warming documentary chronicles Judy's life and how she became one of the most prolific writers of books for children, young adults and adults. The themes of her books are timeless and make anyone who reads them feel less alone in knowing that whatever they are going through in life is normal and their experiences are shared by everyone. Judy is a compassionate and resilient woman who stood up to her critics and supported the millions of young people who wrote to her by writing them back and in some cases becoming life long pen pals with them.
