I'm Amy Swearer.

And I'm John Carlo Conoparo.

And welcome to SCOTUS 101, where we break down what's happening at the Supreme Court, what the justices are up to, and other things related to our favorite branch of government.

Today is the first day of SCOTUS 101 with your new hosts, Amy and me.

That's right.

John Collarrow and I are on our own.

The training wheels are off.

So helmets on everyone.

Buckle those seatbelts where we're going for a ride.

You will, of course, have noticed a few

changes, like our revamped theme music at the beginning and some revamped introductions. But we do

plan on staying true to what this show has always been. And while we will certainly miss our

longtime host and friend Elizabeth Slattery. We will try to make this transition

as smooth as possible. Before we begin our regularly scheduled programming, however,

we're joined today by dun dun dun dun, our boss, the Lord Defender of the Meath Center, the right, the honorable, the overlord, Mr. John Malcolm.

That's not what they print on his business cards, but trust us it is his official title.

What they print on his business cards is something a lot less exciting, like Vice President of the Institute for Constitutional Government and Director of the

Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies. But to us, he is El Hefe. John, welcome to the show.

That's great to be with you. I like Overlord. I'll have to see whether that fits on my new business

card. But look, I'm really excited to formally introduce the two of you as the new co-hosts of this show to our listeners.
