Welcome to Searchlight. A survey through scripture with Pastor John Corson. It is our desire to bring you a

systematic study of the entire Bible chapter by chapter book by book.

Over the past few searchlight programs we have been looking at the story of Gideon.

This is a wonderful story with many lessons. Today we look at Gideon's story

with a verse-by-verse study of Judges Chapter 7 and 8. In this study we will see

how God can overcome what seems to be insurmountable odds.

And so he puts you and me in places of impossibility so that we can see that

it's the Lord who comes through and works things out ultimately

and to Him alone will be all the glory.
