Welcome to Searchlight. A survey through scripture with Pastor John Corson. It is our desire to bring you a

systematic study of the entire Bible chapter by chapter book by book by book.

Today is our last program in our study

through the book of judges.

We have had such a blessed time

looking at these stories and understanding spiritual truths.

But if you've been with us on the last couple of programs, you know that the book does not

end on a high note. The final story is a warning to us. And the final

verse of the book shows the root problem. It says that every man did what was right in

his own eyes.

As we pick up the story today, we see the men of Israel trying to solve a dilemma.

In their anger against the tribe of Benjamin, they killed every single one of them men women and

children except for 600 men that had escaped now they are crying out to God and

blaming him for the unfortunate situation of Benjamin.

Let's now go ahead and join Pastor John

and hear what God says to us about how we handle our situations.

God is nothing but plain old downright flat out good.
