A survey through scripture with Pastor John Corson. It is our desire to bring you a systematic

study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

On our last searchlight program we began looking at the story of Micah.

This was a man who was given over to idolatry. In fact, he had his own house of

gods and hired a renegade Levite to be his own priest. It is bad enough that these guys were involved in idolatry, but as we will see today, it doesn't stop there.

The tribe of Dan also gets caught up in this idolatry.

As we join John today in Judges Chapter 18,

we see some spies from the tribe of Dan spying out some new land. Here now is

Pastor John.

So the five guys, they depart, verse 7, and they came to Leish.

Way up north, north of the Sea of Galilee, if you've gone to Israel with us,

and many of you have you might remember we went up to

T-E-L-D-A-N, tell Dan, the place where you can actually stand and see the gate, it's a mud gate that Abraham personally actually walked through.

That is this place. So if you've been to Israel, think about that stop that we go to and that's where this is.
