Welcome to Searchlight. A survey through scripture with Pastor John Corson. It is our desire to bring you a

systematic study of the entire Bible chapter by chapter book by book by book.

Here on Searchlight, we have recently just begun

our study of the Book of Judges.

This is a fun and exciting book that speaks to us about our walk with the

Lord. On a recent searchlight program, Pastor John shared with us the

Picture in the Book of Judges, which he contrasted to the picture in the book of judges which he contrasted to the picture in the book

of Joshua. Joshua is a picture of entering into the promised land through faith.

In contrast judges is a picture of enjoying the promised land. and through faith through faithfulness. This illustrates the fact that

we are saved by faith alone, but we will not enjoy our salvation unless we walk with faithful mess, unless we are

obedient to God.

As we join John for today's study, we are reviewing some of the battles that were involved in driving

the enemies out of the promised land.
