the law to be put on hold.

Now it's up to the all-male justices of the state Supreme Court.

sentenced for their role in the January 6th Capitol Insurrection.

We start today with our health lead.

A judge has temporarily blocked South Carolina's new abortion restrictions from going into effect.

Yesterday, Governor Henry McMaster signed a law banning most abortions as early as six

weeks into pregnancy, before many women know they're even pregnant.

It did allow for some exceptions, but for now, it's all on hold while the state Supreme

Court takes up the case.

CNN's Anne Galler is following these developments for us, so day in, what happens now?

So Biana, at this point in South Carolina, the limit on abortions returns to what it

was before the governor signed that bill into law, so 20 weeks with some exceptions.
