And so nice to have you on sit and friends in the morning, Judge. Good morning, James. Good morning, John. How are you guys? We're doing well. And Bert Flickinger is here in studio as well. We're just kind of rolling along.

So, Judge, you know, one of the things that we didn't get a chance to kind of touch on yesterday concerning all the fraud in Minneapolis.

And I know you and I off the air have talked about things like jury nullification.

But what about these cases, some of which are pretty intense, alleging fraud that have been dismissed in places like Minneapolis?

Some of these judges seemingly maybe fear for their life and limb, given what we've seen, Melissa Hortman, the lawmaker who was actually assassinated in Minneapolis this summer because she voted against this one health care program

that could have been rife with fraud. So what are your thoughts on that? I mean, do judges at this

point really fear that political retribution and that political violence? Is that impacting their

decision making? I certainly, I certainly hope not. Judges have an obligation to, to do the right thing,

regardless of fear or favor. That's our mandate. We take a note of office. In this heightened

political season, or seasons, the threat of violence or intimidation is clearly there.

There's also career aspirations, too, in terms of moving up the chain and the levels of

the judiciary, because a lot of judges are very interested in moving up.
