It is Tuesday, June 16th, and the 16-year-old accused of sexually assaulting and killing his own step-sister on a carnival cruise has been taken into custody where he will have to stay through his trial because the judge

thinks the kid might be a psychopath. And with that, welcome to this episode of Amy and T.J.

Robs, the judge has now decided he wants this kid to stay in custody and he wrote some pretty strong words

and I wasn't overstating it. He thinks the kid might be a psychopath. Absolutely. And this is a

stunning reversal because we were surprised once he was charged as an adult that he was still allowed

to go back home with his mother's brother, so his maternal uncle,

and live in a home where there were young children. The prosecutors had been arguing against it

from the beginning because of that. And now the judge, when you will go through his order,

seems to fervently agree with prosecutors now.

And again, this kid is 16 years old. The story made headlines. And it has been making headlines

for a month. Anna Kepner is the young lady's name, 18 year old who was found dead,

wrote she was tucked under a bed in her cabin on a carnival cruise with her family. Body was covered by blankets and covered by life jackets,

but the brother eventually was charged 16 years old,

like you said, initially as a juvenile.

Now as an adult, they did send him back home,

Roves, where he has been, even since he's charged as an adult for how long?

It's been two months, maybe?

Well, he was charged in February, and then in April he was charged as an adult.

So, yeah, it's been a couple of months.
