What's up everybody? Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe show. Three out of four, almost a two out of three, not used to the four game series, the Thursday through Sunday against the Red Sox. Final games against the Red Sox took three out of four. Almost a perfect weekend, if not for one very odd meltdown by Garrett Cole, which we'll talk about. But a lot of positive things happened this weekend against the Red Sox.

And we've got a little bit maybe clearer picture on what's going to be the seatings for the playoffs.

Baltimore is just like, you know what, Yankees, you got this.

You can take this.

Whose bullpen can be worse down the stretch?

It seems like the Baltimore Orioles are taking that cake.

I didn't think that was going to be possible.

But my goodness, they're in some shambles over there.

Yeah, really good series.

The fact that the Yankees took three of four was a very good thing because it could have been,

you know, just like we always talk about,

if you go into the final, the Monday and it's a four game set and you drop that last game,

splitting it and a four game set is very different and it feels very different than taking

three of four. And you're right, it could have been four of four most likely if we didn't

have some weird antics by our ace, which don't make me

feel great going into the next start and potentially game one start with his mentals.

I'm all about the mentals right now. I think that's a big, it's a big area of focus to

identify where everybody's mentals are. And actually, ironically, I think the

bullpen's mentals are maybe in a better state. That is interesting to talk about because one of

the positives I wanted to discuss from the weekend was the bullpen. In general, 16 and 2 thirds

innings pitched to a 1.08 ERA over 10 strikeouts per nine innings in the four games.
