Let's get right to our top story this hour. A Texas judge denied a defense motion for a mistrial in the case against a former Uvaldi school district officer.

This is Adrian Gonzalez who's on trial. This happened just one day after the trial began.

Gonzalez is accused of not doing more to save lives in the 2022 massacre that left 19 students and two teachers dead.

The trial ended yesterday with former Rob Elementary School teacher Stephanie Hale on the stand,

testifying about seeing the gunman headed

towards the school but the defense abruptly stopped Hale's testimony when she

shared information that the defense claims they had never heard before now
