Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray through the Bible

verse by verse.

We're going to finish up the book of Jude, which means tomorrow we'll start Revelation.

And I'm so excited to have that opportunity to read Revelation for you.

Today I'm going to be reading from verses 16 through 25 in the world English Bible,

and this is what it says. We kind of broke off in the middle of a thought, and Jude is talking

about these kind of false prophets, false teachers. So that's where we left off. These are murmurers and complainers

walking after their lusts and their mouth speaks proud things showing respect of persons to

gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which have been spoken before by the apostles

of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, in the last time there will be mockers walking after their own ungodly lusts.

These are those who cause divisions and are sensual, not having the spirit.

But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

Keep yourselves in God's love, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

On some have compassion making a distinction.

And some save, snatching them out of the fire with fear hating even the clothing stained by the flesh

now to him who is able to keep them from stumbling and to present you faultless before the presence of

his glory and great joy to god our savior who alone is be glory and majesty, dominion and power both now and

forevermore. Amen. I love that benediction, and I do pray that over us, Lord. And I forgot to say

mine if I pray for you, but that's okay. I think my listeners will understand. Lord Jesus,

thank you for this scripture and this, again, warning about these people

that are not really following you, but they're pretending like they are, and I think those are the

hardest ones.
