Good evening, current affairs listeners. My name is Nathan Roberts, and I'm the editor of Current Affairs Magazine, and I'm here today with a dear friend of mine.

Mr. Johann Hari, he is the author of two bestselling books chasing the screen and lost connections,

and he is currently working on about three or four more books at the same time as I understand it.

I'm very pleased to talk to you because I want to talk about things that are sort of common to both of your published books and also to the sort of projects which are working on now

as sort of common themes and such.

I was just reading through Lost Connections last night.

There's this wonderful little anecdote at the end that I hadn't really read before

and that it's kind of not even on the theme of the book.

But you talk about, this was funny to me, you talk about Andrew Sullivan, who I've never liked,

by the way. But you have this story about him that made me really kind of soften on him a little

bit because you have this lovely story about how in the early 90s,
