There are days in sports that you will never, ever forget. Some for good reasons, some for terrible reasons.

And we are in a very unique situation because half of us are very happy.

Half of us will remember December 8 for all these amazing, incredible reasons,

and the other half, it's like they saw a ghost.

And today here on WFN, we're here for everybody.

The depressed, angry, pissed off, excuse-making Yankee fan,

the excited, hyperbolic, can't tell what's real anymore, Met fan,

because Juan Soto decided to accept a monster offer from Steve Cohen

and join the New York Mets and leave the New York Yankees.

And before we get to the Yankee perspective,

before Sean Morass publicly cries on the radio,

let me just tell you as just one simple Met fan that last night was very, very special.

And it was special, Tiki, not for some of the reasons you're going to hear today.

You will hear Tommy Lugauer today talk about the relationship between the Mets and the Yankees.

You'll hear callers today talk about Big Brother.

It was special for me because when Steve Cohen bought this team four years ago, this was the dream.

The dream was they'd pursue everybody and anybody.

And it didn't happen for four years.
