Guys obviously you hear the tone here. It's a little sad to start WANEP this week.

How could it not be?

We lost DMX at 50 years old. He was taken off life support and passed away on Friday after what was a weird

and pretty terrible week of kind of everyone knowing what was going to happen but not knowing

when it was going to happen or exactly what was going on. In some ways I was talking to Shani Culture the other day off the air, we were just chatting.

In some ways it was sort of like very emblematic of DMX's life in a lot of ways, sort of like the

not knowing exactly what was going on a little bit of

a little bit of chaos around his passing and I don't say that I don't even know

what happened I don't even know the I don't know nothing I know he was in the hospital and then he passed away does anybody really know do we know yeah I don't even exactly know what happened either.

I don't think anyone does in terms of what it was,

but like in some ways, I'm not saying it doesn't matter,

but like, um... It actually doesn't matter. You're right. It doesn't matter. But I was just curious, like I don't, I don't go into that. Like I'm just sad. I'm just sad that we lost DMX I didn't look into what happened and you know you hear

overdose and you hear whatever other things I don't know for sure.

The thing is with X it it's very weird. In one sense, it's like man, gone too soon.

And that is entirely true, 50 years old, I mean that is way too soon.

In another sense, if you've been a fan and a follower of

DMX throughout his career we could have all sadly seen this happening way

younger than 50 if we're being honest with ourselves yeah I think listen man I like I texted you guys earlier why is this
