Eve blockbuster after Portland acquired Drew Holiday and joining us the reason we weren't going

to record until tonight but now we have to do it Danny is coming off of Red Eye how are you man?

I'm doing well it is a lot to process until like people know a little bit I was going to be

the Blazers in that so I've been thinking a lot about what I would prioritize in a return

for Drew Holiday and we knew that it was likely to deal what happened quickly and that you and I

are break down of the Lillard trade talked about how it could make sense that these were separate

transactions and before we get all the way into the weeds the terms here the Portland Trailblazers

are trading Drew Holiday to the Boston Celtics we're going to talk a whole lot about that for two

first round picks the Warriors in 24 which the Celtics acquired in the Marcus Smart trade and

their own 2029 unprotected first plus Robert Williams and Malcolm Brogdon yeah we'll talk about

the Portland angle of this quite a bit and we'll of course talk about the financial aspects for Boston

the price that was paid all that but I think for me when a possible championship contender

makes a move like this the first question even before you talk about the price that was paid is

how good are they and how good are they specifically relative to the quality you need to win a

championship so what is your answer to that question maybe we should just run through first

who is actually on this team now what their rotation would look like I think we can expect that

their closing five will be start will have a foundational four of Jason Tatum Jalen Brown Drew

Holiday and Christophe for Zingas and then the fifth will be a little context dependent that will

either be Al Hoerford or I think in more situations though potentially not the most important one
