You know, a week or so ago, I mentioned that I was kind of itching to get back in team sports, and I'd seen that comedian who said he played hardball, baseball in New York.

And he was talking about how much of a loser he was because he was from New York City and he's doing a gig at Lakewood Country Club on a Saturday night and he wasn't going to even stay at the hotel.

He was going back because he had a hardball baseball game.

So I ran into somebody at Lifetime Fitness that I've known for probably a decade, just really from

working out. Like we've never hung out beyond seeing him at the gym

But I would consider him a friend. I mean I've got his number. He's got my number he text me on occasion

Last night he sends me a text and he asked me to play in a game tonight.

Just a pickup baseball game?

Not a pickup game. He plays in a league.

And like we had had a conversation, I don't know if he heard me say it.

And then it got real because we had this conversation.

And he said, I was like, but guys are throwing probably like 80 or 90.

He said no. He said 90 and he said no he said no he said that he said it's more like 60

but I don't even know if I catch up to one's I haven't swung a bat probably since the homey softball team.

You didn't have a glove?

Here's the thing.

So I actually thought about it.

I thought about it for a second and then just schedule wise I couldn't but

and go out the next time I get asked.
