0:09.3	I'm the Executive Director of Formed, and joining me today is Dr. Mark Gyshek, who is a professor
0:13.2	of scripture at the Augustin Institute Graduate School of Theology.

0:17.8	Hey, it's great to be here.
0:18.9	And we've been going through, we have a whole
0:21.1	series informed of Bible studies of diving deeply into the scripture passages to help you meditate
0:27.6	more fruitfully on this beautiful gift of the rosary. And so we're now in the second joyful mystery.
0:33.0	The first joyful mystery is the enunciation where the angel Gabriel comes and announces God's plan revealed to Mary.
0:39.7	And then now we're at the point of Mary gets up and goes and visit someone.
0:45.5	Yeah.
0:46.2	Yeah.
0:46.6	So maybe the place to begin is to just think about Mary's journey, right?
0:50.3	That she's going, it seems by herself, you know, but probably with a caravan of other
0:55.0	travelers, about 90 miles on foot from Nazareth to Ein Karam, which is where Elizabeth and
1:02.8	Zachariah live.
1:03.6	And whenever I think about this passage, I'm immediately transported back to the Holy Land because
1:09.6	this site where Zachariah and Elizabeth's
1:12.4	house is in the Holy Land has become a holy site, right?
1:16.7	And it's got this big, beautiful church on it.
1:19.0	You can go pay a visit when you go to the Holy Land.
