I'm thrilled to be joined by Joyce Vance.

in about 40 minutes. Lisa Kimmel will join us and moderate questions for both Joyce and myself. If you would be good

them out on email responses after the fact. But let me just begin by welcoming Joyce and somebody who is a

frequent presence on American television, somebody who has a real talent for explanation and

clarifying a lot of the complexity that we are dealing with as a country.

What I did not realize when we settled

on this date was that it was both the one-year anniversary of my substack civil discourse today.

And of course, I don't think any of us realized we would be on possibly the eve of the first

federal indictments of the former president. So what a night to be together.

I have had a lot of success like that over the, over the course of the year. I'm coming up on my
