But I came that you might have and enjoy your life to the full until it overflows.

He don't only wants us to enjoy our life, he wants us to have joy.

And today I'm talking to you about the fruit of joy. We're doing a series on the

fruit of the spirit. We talked about love yesterday and today we're going to talk

about joy. And I wonder what people think joy is. Is it just hilarity and

laughing all the time? No, not really. It can be that. Here's a definition. A shout, a proclamation,

singing, triumph, cheerful, cheerfulness, and my favorite, a calm delight. And that's what I like,

and I think that that's what I live in.

Now, I love a good laugh as much as anybody else, but usually if we laugh, it's because there's

something funny to laugh about.

But this joy that's a calm delight, we can have that when nothing special is going on. It's just you live with it.

You have that calm delight in your heart. You don't have to have something super spiritual going on
