All right, 2020, happy new year, happy new decade.

How many of you came here expecting a high power,

high octane life changing sermon.

Roo, all right, let me lower your expectations.

That's probably not gonna happen.

I am exhausted.

My daughter got married on Friday and I am a hot mess minus the hot. I will just be honest with you

All I was thinking about was the wedding and yesterday I was a I was like zombie apocalypse day for me.

And so the 9 a.m. I said some stuff.

I have no idea what it was.

And the same thing's gonna happen right now.

So we are in the book of Philippians.

We're concluding a great series on joy in Jesus Christ.

If you've got a Bible go to Philippians chapter 4 and the timing of this section of God's word is incredibly timely because here we are

brand new year, brand new decade. This is the time of year when most of us are trying to get our schedule organized,

trying to get our budget organized, trying to get our health organized,

looking as far into the future as we can see, and planning appropriately.

The problem is we even if we intend well we
