Have you ever wished that you were more joyful? A more fun mother, someone who was just

a joy and delight to be around? Well, I'm here to tell you that's what God wants

for you to. My name is Heidi St. John, and I want to talk to you for just a couple minutes

today about joy. There are so many verses in the Bible that talk about joy. I mean, I'm

sitting here looking at them in my Bible, and I'm realizing there's way too many for

me to quote to you, but my favorite one is found in Nehemiah 810, it says, the joy of

the Lord is my strength. I love that because it lets me know that my strength doesn't come

from anything else. My strength comes from the Lord and his joy in Philippians 4-4, the

Bible says, rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say rejoice. And then over in Galatians

5-22, we read the fruit of the Spirit. Now, remember the fruit of the Spirit we talked

about this a few weeks ago, the fruit of the Spirit are evidences that the Holy Spirit

is working in your life. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
