All right, today we're looking at Psalm 126 versus 4 through 6 as we continue looking at

what the Bible says about joy.

And the passage we'll be reading today is a very strange passage in a sense because

the context and the subject matter, I guess you would say, is that of grief and that

of sorrow.

But right in the midst of it, David talks about how joy exists even in those moments.

Let's see what he says here as he states a prayer to the God of the universe.

He says, restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the negative, now the negative was

a desert.
