As we begin today's guided prayer, let me read you Romans chapter 15 in verse 13.

It declares, now the God of hope, may he fill you with all joy and peace and believing so that by the power of the Holy Spirit

you may abound in hope.

Today as we begin to pray, why don't we start with gratitude and thanksgiving toward a God who fills us. Romans 1513 declares the God

of hope will fill us with joy and peace. Take 30 seconds now and thank God for filling you today. As we continue praying, let us now turn our attention to areas in our own life where we might feel drained.

Of course, we are grateful that he fills us to the brim with good things, but at times we can feel depleted.

Is there an area in your own life where you might feel depleted?

Or hopeless?

Maybe something's weighing heavy on your heart.

And it seems to be draining you of energy, of strength.
