0:05.7	Acts chapter 13 verses 48 and 49. And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing

0:22.9	What a picture as the gospel spreading. So just as a reminder, the beginning of
0:27.3	Acts chapter 13, Church of Antioch, sins out, Paul and Barnabas, by the Holy Spirit to go
0:33.8	and to proclaim the gospel where it hasn't gone to unreached people. And they are traveling
0:39.6	and sharing the gospel and leaving people to Christ and gathering together in churches. This is
0:45.1	what's known as the first missionary journey in the New Testament. And verse 48 says when the
0:50.4	Gentiles, when these non-Jewish nations, peoples heard the Word of God, heard the gospel. They
0:56.8	began rejoicing. Just picture the joy as they're hearing God's Word and glorifying the Word
1:03.7	of the Lord. In that great picture, the Gentiles, the nations glorifying the Word of God. And as
1:09.8	many as were appointed to eternal life believed. What a picture they're believing. God's appointing
1:16.1	this picture of divine sovereignty and human responsibility. And one little phrase right there.
1:21.8	And then verse 49 says, and the Word of the Lord that they were glorifying was spreading
1:27.7	throughout the whole region. Ah, don't we all long for that for more and more people to find joy
1:33.8	in the gospel in such a way that they glorify the Word of God and its spreads? Oh yes, let's pray
1:40.8	for this in the cities where we live. Let's pray for this in the countries where we live. Let's
1:46.3	pray for this in the nations of the world. Let's intercede for those who are without Christ right
1:52.2	now, including those who are unreached and including those who have access to the gospel right
1:56.6	around us. And let's pray that Acts 13, 48 through 49 would unfold in their lives. I think about
2:02.4	one moment when I was in a village in India where they had been totally unreached and then they
