Today we are on a journey through Scripture.

We hope you'll join us as we make 66 stops through each book of the Word of God.

The Bible is the greatest love story on earth.

There is no love story like the story of God's love for us.

And in the Bible, there's one book that stands out above all others as a book primarily just about love.

And that, my friends, is the book of Song of Solomon.

You remember that Solomon wrote three books.

He wrote Ecclesiastes, he wrote Proverbs, and he wrote Song of Solomon. Most people believe

that he wrote Song of Solomon when he was young and in love. He writes about love. He wrote

proverbs at the height of his power and reign. He wrote about wisdom. Then he wrote Ecclesiastes as an old man

to talk about the folly of departing from that wisdom. I tell you, we live in an Ecclesiastes world,

but I want to keep a song of Solomon heart. How about you? Though there's lots of evil around us

and emptiness around us, I want to keep a heart filled with the love of God, filled with

love for God, and filled and overflowing with the love of God for other people.

A Song of Solomon is the opposite of Ecclesiastes.

Ecclesiastes shows a man with an empty heart, but Song of Solomon shows a man with a full
