0:13.0	Today we are on a journey through Scripture.
0:16.0	We hope you'll join us as we make 66 stops through each book of the Word of God.
0:36.3	It only takes up one page in our New Testament, and yet it is quite a story.
0:42.1	In our journey through Scripture, we've come now to the little letter of Philemon.
0:46.1	It only has 25 verses, 445 words.
0:50.6	It is the shortest letter of the Apostle Paul ever wrote.
0:53.8	And it's been called a model letter written by a master of letter writing.
0:57.9	And indeed, it is an interesting letter.
1:00.8	Let me give you the background, if I may.
1:02.6	It's the story of a slave, a man who was so disgruntled with life
1:06.8	and with his lot in life that he thought, if I could just get away, if I could just escape.
1:11.6	You ever feel that way?
1:12.6	I'm thinking now the words of the psalmist when he said,
1:14.6	oh, that I had wings like a dove, for then would I fly away and be at rest?
1:19.6	The truth of the matter is, most people don't need a geographical change.
1:24.6	They need a spiritual change.
1:25.6	It's not a change of scenery or surroundings,
1:28.0	it's a change of heart. And that was the case in the life of this servant by the name of
1:32.9	Onesimus. He runs away from home. He steals from his master who happens to be a believer, a man
1:39.0	by the name of Philemon, a man who knew the Apostle Paul, and he runs away.
1:48.7	He runs away to a huge metropolitan area called Rome.
