Today we are on a journey through Scripture.

We hope you'll join us as we make 66 stops through each book of the Word of God.

Have you ever been given a job that seemed absolutely impossible? Well, the man we're about to meet

0:40.4

today was given such a task. As a matter of fact, his name means Jehovah Appoints. And literally,

own nation, doesn't it? The great need of our land is not political, it's not economic, it's not

1:58.7

military. The greatest need, the deepest need, is always the spiritual need.

2:04.6

And the darkest hour is the hour when any nation turns away from the truth that God has given.

2:10.9

Now the book of Jeremiah is a book of warning.

2:13.2

It was written to warn God's people.

2:15.8

As a matter of fact, Jeremiah is going to be given a message not only for the chosen people,
