0:14.1	And in this study, journeying through scriptures, we will take a brief big-picture look at every book of the Bible, tracing God's unfolding story from Genesis to Revelation.

0:43.0	There seems to be a lot of weeping when you read through the Old Testament prophets, and yet there is a prophet whose name means festive.
0:46.5	Literally, his name means celebration, and there is a celebration in the book.
0:51.3	We've come to it now in our journey through scripture.
0:53.4	We've come to the little book of Haggai.
0:55.0	What was there to celebrate in Haggiyai's life and ministry?
0:59.0	He was one of the few prophets who actually saw the fruit of his ministry.
1:03.0	He's been called the successful prophet by some.
1:06.0	And I want to just stop and say, a person's not successful because of the results.
1:11.0	They're successful because of obedience.
1:13.2	We leave the results with God.
1:15.1	And so if you've been faithful to the Lord, whether you see the fruit of it or not, God will honor you for that.
1:20.3	But Haggai saw fruit.
1:22.8	He saw results from his ministry.
1:25.5	He's one of the last three writing prophets. This is the first of the post-exile
1:30.8	books. So they've just come out of Babylonian captivity. Haggai actually comes back with
1:36.4	Zerubable in the first return. And Haggai chapter 1 verse 1 tells us this is in the second year of
1:42.2	Darius. He's a companion to Zechariah, and both of
