Today we are on a journey through Scripture.

We hope you'll join us as we make 66 stops through each book of the Word of God.

One of the great principles of Bible study is comparing Scripture with Scripture.

Someone has suggested that the greatest commentary on the Bible is the Bible itself,

and I truly believe that.

We've come in our study now, in our journey, to the book of Colossians.

Now, while Colossians stands alone as a letter to

believers in Colossi, this book has actually been called a twin epistle to the book of Ephesians.

Now those two cities, Ephesus and Colossi, were only about 100 miles apart. It's even possible

that Colossi may have been evangelized from the believers in Ephesus.

But besides that fact, and besides the fact that there are distinctions to them, there are so many similarities.
